SWEEPING CURVES

SWEEPING CURVES
Here's a short info about the sweeping curves in Cappadocia.

     What is sweeping curves?
Sweeping curves is another characteristic feature of the area on the side of the valleys.
      How is it created?
Those soft kind of agglomerates like tufa (from the Mount Erciyes, Hasandağ and Göllüdağ) swept away by the rainwater easily, that is why some curves of the surface created.
The array of the colour seen on some of the valleys is due to the difference in heat of the lava layers.

Where do these colours of sweeping curves located?
Such colours can be seen in  Uçhisar, Çavuşin/ Güllüdere, Göreme/ Meskendir, Ortahisar/ Kızılçukur and Pancarlık valley.

      Surface:
The uppermost layer of sweeping curves is kinda dusty/ sandy that makes the area a little bit slidy.
